छत्तीसगढ़ में समर्थन मूल्य पर किसानों से अब तक 89 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान की खरीद की गई है। इसके एवज में 20.81 लाख किसानों को 18,266 करोड़ रूपए का भुगतान बैंक लिंकिंग व्यवस्था के तहत किया गया है। खाद्य विभाग के अधिकारियों ने बताया कि पिछले वर्ष की तरह इस वर्ष भी धान खरीदी के साथ-साथ कस्टम मिलिंग के लिए निरंतर धान का उठाव जारी है।

अब तक लगभग 77 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान के उठाव के लिए डीओ जारी किया गया है, जिसके विरूद्ध मिलर्स द्वारा 65 लाख मीट्रिक टन धान का उठाव किया जा चुका है। गौरतलब है कि इस साल राज्य में 25.92 लाख किसानों का पंजीयन हुआ है, जिसमें लगभग 2.26 लाख नये किसान शामिल हैं। राज्य में धान खरीदी के लिए 2616 उपार्जन केन्द्र बनाए गए हैं। सामान्य धान 2040 रूपए प्रति क्विंटल तथा ग्रेड-ए धान 2060 रूपए प्रति क्विंटल की दर से खरीदा जा रहा है।
