छत्तीसगढ़ के नक्सल प्रभावित बीजापुर जिले में केंद्रीय रिजर्व पुलिस बल (सीआरपीएफ) के जवान ने अपनी कलाई काटकर कथित रूप से आत्महत्या कर ली है। पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बुधवार को यह जानकारी दी। बीजापुर थाना के प्रभारी शशिकांत भारद्वाज ने बताया कि बीजापुर थाना क्षेत्र के जैतालूर मार्ग स्थित सीआरपीएफ की 170वीं बटालियन के शिविर में आरक्षक मोहन ने अज्ञात कारणों से अपनी कलाई काटकर आत्महत्या कर ली। उन्होंने बताया कि घटना की जानकारी मिलते ही वरिष्ठ अधिकारी शिविर पहुंचे और शव का पोस्टमार्टम कराया। अधिकारी ने बताया कि घटना के कारणों के बारे में जानकारी नहीं मिल पायी है। उन्होंने बताया कि जवान का बुधवार को हरियाणा स्थित उसके पैतृक गांव भेजा गया। थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही है।
